Kevin Allison is the president and founder of Minerva Technology Futures. Prior to founding Minerva in 2023, Kevin spent nearly a decade pioneering the geopolitical analysis of critical and emerging technologies in the private sector, first at Eurasia Group, where he helped build the company’s geotechnology practice, and later at Albright Stonebridge Group. Earlier in his career, Kevin was a correspondent for the Financial Times, where he covered Silicon Valley, and at Thomson Reuters. Kevin is a globally recognized expert on the role of technology in geopolitical statecraft. He is non-resident fellow in the technology policy program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
Head of Strategy
Emily Benson is head of strategy at Minerva, leading the company's work on technology statecraft. She joined Minerva from the US Department of Commerce Supply Chain Center, where she helped shape the US government's approach to technology supply chain resilience. Previously, as director of the Project on Trade and Technology at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Emily established herself as a leading voice on policy issues at the intersection of the tech sector, geopolitics, and national security. Her insights have been featured in major publications including the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, and Politico. Emily is a non-resident fellow at CSIS.
Senior Analyst & Operations Lead
Venesa Rugova is senior analyst and operations lead at Minerva, where she leverages her background in AI, cybersecurity, geopolitics, and transatlantic relations to help clients navigate complex technology and policy landscapes. Prior to Minerva, Venesa served as a Government Relations Fellow at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), a leading industry group, supporting strategic engagement on emerging technology issues. She also worked as a Researcher in the Europe Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where she focused on US-EU relations, NATO cooperation, and the European Union's approach to technology policy.
